A few things I actually believe.
Demos lie, production doesn't
Any AI system looks good in a controlled setting. I care about what happens when real users do unexpected things.
Understand before you automate
AI amplifies what's already there. If the underlying process is broken, making it faster just breaks things faster.
Keep it debuggable
AI systems fail in strange ways. I build them so that when something goes wrong, you can actually figure out why.
